GODZILLA: M.A. - Kiryu

Wow, that took longer than I thought it would. Any way I wanted my Kiryu design to incorperate elements from both versions.

History:
Kiryu (or Mechagodzilla 3) is the latest addition to the GDF’s arsenal of Mecha Kaiju and he is also the most advanced mech to date. Kiryu is a cyborg that was constructed using the bones of the original Godzilla which were salvaged from his resting place by the GDF in the hopes of creating a monster as powerful as Godzilla that would be able to defeat this new Godzilla as well as protect humanity from any other monster threats. He is much sleeker than other mechs and has been augmented with state of the art weapons, enhanced reflexes, and a DNA based computer, the GDF was sure that Kiryu would prove to be a useful defender. Unfortunately, when the GDF first used the monster against Godzilla something happened. When the modern day Godzilla roared he triggered Kiryu’s memories from when it was Godzilla and Kiryu went on a rampage. After the destruction was over, the GDF upgraded Kiryu with a new DNA computer so that he wouldn’t go out of control again. In their final battle, the spirit of the original Godzilla possessed Kiryu once again but instead of going on a rampage, Kiryu carried Godzilla out to sea and plugged into the ocean depths, back to its resting place. However with the return of Godzilla and this new crisis, the GDF had no other choice than to salvage Kiryu’s remains and rebuild him to fight alongside humanity once again even though they were warned not to. The spirit of Godzilla still inhabits Kiryu and can be awakened at any time and when it does it will be very angry. The GDF should consider themselves lucky that hasn’t happened… yet.

Powers and Abilities:
- Well rounded fighter
- Can fire a twin maser canons from its mouth
- Chest opens up to fire Absolute Zero canon
- Can fire missiles from its shoulders
- Dual retractable blades on each arm that conducts electricity
- Right hand turns into a drill
- Rocket boosters on back enable limited flying capabilities
- Can send an electric current through its tail and use it as a powerful whip
- The spirit of the original Godzilla can possess Kiryu if he hears the modern Godzilla roar
