Infinity Anguirus

Finally! I can add a new addition to my infinity series. Hopefully I can get the next one out faster.

 Bio:
Godzilla’s attack on Tokyo in 1954 set off a chain reaction, soon more and more monsters were appearing, awakened from the nuclear age. Anguirus was the second kaiju to be encountered by humanity. The first Anguirus appeared shortly after the devastation of Tokyo along with a new Godzilla. The two of them fought a battle to the death which Godzilla had won. The battle completely leveled the city of Osaka and from that moment it was clear that this was just the beginning of something much bigger. A new Anguirus was discovered in the years after and is much bigger than his predecessor. Mutated from the same nuclear blast that awakened Godzilla, Anguirus is presumably from the same time period as Godzilla. Anguirus comes from a species of carnivorous Ankylosaurus-type dinosaur called Angilasaurs. He possesses a tough exterior with a thick armored hide and a hard spiked carapace on his back which he uses as a weapon. Despite his very tough defense Anguirus is neither the strongest, nor largest monster on Earth but he is very tenacious, fierce, and aggressive in battle making him a threat. We have been studying Anguirus’ behavioral habits on Monster Island and discovered something very interesting. Despite Anguirus being an extremely aggressive and territorial animal he has shown great loyalty to Godzilla and has been a faithful companion, fighting along side him for many years. Some would even describe this relationship as a friendship. Through Anguirus we have been able to discern a social hierarchy amongst the monsters similar to wolves or other social animals with Godzilla being the alpha or in other words the King. Anguirus’ rank in this kingdom of monsters seems to be the Beta acting as second in command. This would also explain why some of Earth’s kaiju who had previously fought Godzilla in the past like Anguirus and Rodan, do not attempt to challenge again Godzilla after being dominated after their first encounter, instead they serve Godzilla as allies. Anguirus might not be the most powerful kaiju but he still remains to be a subject of interest to the Earth Defense Force’s kaiju research division.  

Powers and Abilities:

- Spiked Carapace

- Can produce a Sonic Roar which is loud enough to break the sound barrier

- Can fire a large number of small spikes from his carapace and along his tail which quickly grow back

- Can tuck his head and limbs beneath his shell and roll forward, increasing his momentum and becoming a strong physical force

- Powerful jaws

- Burrowing ability
